Sean Perryman – Candidate for FCDC Recording Secretary
Sean Perryman is an attorney in the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Democratic Staff. He knows a sharp eye, knowledge of the rules, and great record keeping are critical to the success of FCDC.
Sean is a passionate advocate for equity and marginalized communities. Sean graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2011. During law school, Sean successfully advocated for legislation that strengthened the penalties for human trafficking in Tennessee. He practiced as a litigator before leaving private practice to work as Counsel on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Democratic Staff.
Sean is actively engaged in the Fairfax community. He was appointed to the Affordable Dwelling Advisory Board. He also volunteers with the NAACP. He serves as chair of the organization’s Education Committees and is an active member of the Political Action Committee. Sean is also a member of the Braddock District’s Campaign Contribution Committee. He looks forward to contributing and as progressive voice within FCDC.
